SLP Spring Compressor for Select Polaris UTV Models - 20-230

This spring compression tool is made in the USA. It makes servicing 2016+ Polaris secondary clutches a breeze. It utilizes a special extremely coarse thread to keep you from screwing around with it all day. The special aluminum pilot bushing fits perfectly into the helix to keep the helix centered while you compress the spring. It can be mounted permanently to a bench, clamped in a vice or bolted to the SLP Receiver Hitch Taper Holding Tool #20-229(sold separately). This tool was designed to quickly let the user to safely remove and install the helix and spring from the B.O.S.S. secondary clutch found on the following models:

Tech Tip: Polaris UTV Clutches should be visually inspected every 500 miles. Compressed air should be used to clean any dirt and belt dust out of the clutch system. Clutches should be removed from the UTV and serviced every 1000 to 1500 miles depending on the driving conditions encountered.
