SLP Clutch Intake Pre-Filter for 2015-22 Polaris RZR 900 Trail, RZR-S & XC - 14-226

The vents located on the sides of the 2015-22 RZR 900, RZR-S 900 & 2015-17 RZR XC 900 models are not plumbed directly into the clutch air intake system. Covering these vents with pre-filter is not the answer as dust easily gets into the unfiltered clutch system through the un-sealed plastic bed cover. This pre-filter is installed under the plastic bed cover and covers the stock clutch intake tube to reduce the amount of sand, dust and dirt particles that enter the clutch chamber. Clutch and belt life are increased by keeping the clutch components clean.

An absolute must for running on dusty trails!

Installation:
This filter goes over the stock cylindrical plastic intake found on the drivers side under the plastic cowling that is between the bed and the seats (see yellow circle in picture). The engine access cover in the bed, driver seat, and passenger seat will need to be removed, The cowling has 9 torx head screws (4 on bed side, 5 on seat side) holding it on. This pre-filter will slide right over the plastic cylindrical intake for the clutch. Once the cowling is removed, it is recommended to clean out the cavity before re-installation.
